From The Straits Times
SMRT's first media briefing on this week's dramatic events was led by executive vice-president for roads and commercial Teo Chew Hoon, as chief executive Desmond Kuek is on leave overseas.
(If the CEO is on leave without valid reasons and if I am CEO of Singapore INC, guess who i will consider sacking first.........)

"Four Chinese SMRT bus drivers involved in illegal strike charged in court
SINGAPORE - Four Chinese national SMRT bus drivers who were involved in the recent illegal strike were charged in court this afternoon for abetting fellow drivers employed by SMRT Buses Ltd to take part in a strike on Monday and Tuesday." - TODAYonline

A firm stand on this case, will serve as assurance to investors, and also serve as deterrence to future strikes.

Final SMRT bus driver charged in illegal strike pleads guilty
by Hussain Syed Amir Updated 11:18 AM Dec 03, 2012
SINGAPORE - The final SMRT bus driver who is facing prosecution for his involvement in an illegal strike last week has pleaded guilty in court this morning to commencing an illegal strike sometime between 6am and 7am on November 26.
A solemn looking and bespectacled Bao Feng Shan, 38, who was not represented, had his charge read out to him in Mandarin through a court interpreter.
Saying that a deterrent sentence is warranted because of the "considerable public disquiet" caused by the strike, Deputy Public Prosecutor Peggy Pao-Keerthi asked Senior District Judge See Kee Oon to impose a
6 week imprisonment sentence.
