Can i confirm something?
The REIT which give out the div will not be tax,
But will it be tax on the individual?

Nope. All dividends and distributions paid out to individual shareholders are exempted from tax.

Stuck?? I guess only those who were planning to stag the counters - which is a poor decision in the first place.

Despite the generous allocation ratio, I was not successful in the IPO. So I was pleasantly surprise that it opened flat and took the opportunity to pick up some on the market.

The last contribution to MCT was 1.5 years ago from Nick. Since then, MCT share price has gone from sub $1 to $1.445 on 15th Feb.

On 15th Feb, the last traded price before 5pm was $1.38. But after market closed matching happened at $1.445 and a total of 2.46 million shares done, all at the price!!! I mean why the huge jump from $1.38 to $1.445? Can they not buy up progressively from $1.38?

And the price move was rumoured to be the spillover effect from Mapletree China Reit IPO....how would MCT benefit.

Anybody care to explain? Thanks
