Are we saying that suddenly people are no longer changing their worn-out shoes?

NV

Base on info provided, QM carries brands of 双星 (Double Star), 金鼠王 (Jin Shu Wang), 康踏 (Kang Ta), 乔丹 (Qiao Dan), 贵人鸟 (K-Bird), 三六一度 (361) and 特步 (Xtep). There are quite well-known domestic brands in China.

Base on observation, general public in China still using domestic brands. Only wealthier population in first tiered city using foreign brands.

Sudden change of customer's preference is less likely. I have not gone into detail of the accounting, but one of the possible reason is excessive "channel stuffing" previously.

i used to salivate over such net-nets when i first started investing, with the hope that something will turn around in the company to bring about a revaluation, but it seems like it doesnt happen for many S-chips, perhaps net-nets apply only for companies with decent management. Many of these S chips appear to suck money from naive singaporeans only

if each share is backed by 16 or 17 cents of solid cash, why CEO sold off his holding yet again?

Is this just an empty shell? where are the superheros?

If u see the details, his direct interest did not drop but indirect interest decreases ? And the quantum of shares is much more than market volume that day. And at 0.065. I think it's between two parties only?

Mr. Su did not sell its direct stake. It is sold by High Crown Limited, which is wholly-owned by Mr. Su. So only deemed interest reduces.

Given GIC-backed Li Ning is on the brink of collapse, how well can Qing Mei be doing?

If the article is true, qingmei has already stop operations for a few months and sold its machinery. The background facts about quanzhou jinzhou and the industry matches what I read earlier, so it's most prob written by someone who knows the industry. Hope no one still holding

The superheroes are all fake afterall . This article (if true) should send a good cautionary note to those staunch defenders of this counter earlier ...

It might just be a matter of time before trading suspension is filed ...

Mr Peterlynch, where are u?

Any comments?

I agree with u that he shouldn't have involved himself with that mess. But let bygones be bygones. Let's hope u will refocus on Qingmei and reward shareholders who have stuck by him. By the way, he's already stated that Q3 results have reached bottom; the only way to go is up. I'm eagerly awaiting Q4 and year end results before deciding what to do- Sell or buy more?
I sold all qingmei shares some time ago. I am convinced the CEO isn't telling the truth and the numbers are not reliable. Thinking of shorting. how to short a penny stock. My remiser said I can't short penny stocks. Is it true?
My friend in Fujian went to visit Qingmei and it was deserted. What the news article said is really true.

1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
