Please know the full story before just spill nonsense.

I think she didn't want to accept cash and wanted to be independent and thus sold things that she had no use for that she got from the P.A scheme. that's my guess based on what she has said in these articles.

this is a professional site when I make statements people ask me to provide source if not is considered making false accusations.

For your info, you never provided any "Proof" to validate that the govt did not give cash for the P.A scheme and she did not receive any medical help from the govt.

But then , what can be expected of people like you who tell half truths and lies and all you do is just spam without any substance.

You want proof that the P.A. schemes gives cash, go look up the P.A. scheme and you will find the details.

You want proof that the govt provide medical help, go look the articles where they clearly highlight that the govt helped settled her medical affairs. Also look up the medical help that the govt provides for such people.

You want me to proof why she made the decision? Sorry, I don't provide "Proof" to ridiculous request of why people make decisions to do what they want to do with their life.

tsk, tsk .

I think we need to know what was the ongoing discussion before he posted those comments. It was quite an abrupt comment. My guess is that he could be saying what goes into CPF consist of interest and employer contribution, and only merely employee contribution.

I do understand your point that we need to see comments in the context of on-going discussion. However, I feel that his comment was totally wrong however we put the context. The minister already made it clear that money in our CPF account is OUR MONEY. Does he mean that when he open an account with banks, the interest he earned from the bank is not his money? Or if he invests in bonds, only the principal is his money and the coupon payments from bond issuer is not his money? I have not heard of such a thing as other people's money in my account except when they are credited by mistake.

C) Our gross pay is 80% and employers are taxed 36%
D) Our gross pay is 116% and we are taxed 36% more

No CPF. But gov implement food stamps, higher housing subsidy and higher medical subsidy EQUALLY for all. ;P

+1 to that! I'd say gross pay 100% with ~+/-40% tax (CPF+original income tax) but with food stamps, higher housing subsidy, much higher medical subsidy and universal retirement insurance coverage.
I believe we got enough in this thread, and egghead got his wish for piggo reply.

I don't see the value to continue, and it is becoming a flaming site.

Thanks for all the contributions, and I do see valuable contributions, which might be enlightening for some on the topic.

I close the thread.
