I just find you people funny. When the ministers keep quiet when the political websites and bloggers criticize and say half truths about policies and complain about everything under the sun, you say, "It is the truth ! and that's why they didn't sue!"

HOWEVER,

When the ministers sue when these political websites and bloggers go beyond just criticizing but accusing them of wrong doing and make it sound as if they are cheating the citizens, you people say, " See can't even accept criticisms , They are trying to control their freedom of speech, dictators etc...etc..." and whatever you can find to accuse them.

When you have a political agenda, no matter what someone does, you can always find fault with them.

Tsk...Tsk.... what a pity....

If the management of Singapore inc is more open to criticism and admitting mistake, it's easier to move forward as a whole and not just the pro-P alone. But the ball is in the elites' court.

These sites told the truths , otherwise they would also be sued long time ago . The truths hurt !
No ground to sue them , just too bad.
Quite true. There r 3 camps: the pro-P, pro-Singapore and the FT/PR (who mostly have a monetary agenda). Ucan clearly tell from the their tone.

Our leaders always made it very clear that they have to take legal actions against those who are not telling the truth, so as to clear their names. They even sued foreign press like FEER etc.
They explained it is a matter of principle to clear their names.
If Roy told the truth , he would not have received lawyer letter from PM Lee in the first place.
So he lied and thus he got sued? ???? but previously you mentioned ...he told the truth and the truth hurts and thats why he getting sued??

Confusing man......Wink

Such simplistic categorization again. Pro-P is not pro-Singapore? Pro-Singapore cannot be pro-P?
The topic has been well covered with diversification of views, and I do see no further value-add to continue

I closed the thread. Thanks.
