A even nicer number $1.68. But I think it's daydreaming.

I think this is getting to be more and more of a guessing game.

What I will suggest is for all of us to be patient and wait 1-2 more days and we will be able to see the reason for the trading halt.

SGX listing rules say trading halt maximum of 3 days. http://rulebook.sgx.com/net_file_store/n...2011_2.pdf A Trading Halt is a short term trading stoppage requested by an issuer to disclose material information. It is generally requested for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of three market days. When a Trading Halt is being lifted, a stock will enter into the phase that the market is then in. ==> if not become suspended.

Is it going to be sleepless nights for KC shareholders till Thursday? The sleepless nights are not due to worry, but due to anticipation...

Hope we have a cash rich trade buyer making the offer

I remember reading somewhere that the average premium paid for Singapore companies that are acquired is 35%. If this is really a GO, I should say the acquirer has gotten in at the right time before FY12's results announcement (which would have created a possible run-up in price, considering FY12's numbers should be better than last year's).
