No wonder the Buy Q @ 73ct had so many today... I thought it was the Stabilising Manager using up their last "bullets"...Big Grin

So, back to my original question. Does he need to make a Mandatory G.O. if he crosses 30%? Latest = 22.481% + another possible 7% if Stabilising Manager returns that to him after buying from Open Market... Interesting! Cool

almost 15million just like that?

i think if you look at IPO allotments result someone had posted, you will notice many LIMs are allotted quite substantial qty. by private placement too.
Shall we just follow the LIMs? They are the insiders, aren't they? But why should i follow them? Can i ever found out what they know that i don't know now? Take the risks?
By the time i know, everyone will know then.

IMO, with the new variable of Mr Lim buying 20Mil units yesterday, the risk of losing money for shortists is now very high... Good Luck to you if you're shorting...

Ha! Ha!
Can the Shortists and the Panjangs (the Longists) are actually of the same camp. Only you and i don't know which camp to take? If it's really a wayang (pump and dump or vice versa) by the LIMs, then we shall see very soon. Then it's not so much which camp you take but "HIT & RUN" should be the strategy. i admit i am not "HIT & RUN MAN". i am very KIASI man.

For the insiders to do "pump & dump", the damage caused by the dump far outweighs the benefit of pump. Then what's there to gain for insiders?

I doubt that the Lims are planning to dump. My thinking is that with so many relatives of the Lims and other Directors having vested from the Placement tranche, it was quite inevitable (on hindsight) for our rich Mr Lim to come in... Call it a nice gesture, a save face measure or more likely, just a hard biz decision (he's also vested) to try to hold back any further price drops...

i doubt they are doing the dump soon. They actually bought 3 properties in Tuas in early 2013 to form part of the IPO portfolio, instead of using the other 4 in their "pipeline" - you will expect them to eventually use the REIT to monetise the other stuff they have on the books, hence a vested interest to make sure the interest in this remains decently high in the meantime.

Yes! This should be the "pumping" phase since there are still 4 waiting in the pipeline. Whether there is a dumping phase or not who knows? i think that's why how many % of the REITS is in the hands of the LIMs & gangs is quite important to know.

After being MIA after day 1, the Stabilising Mgr is back in action for 2.5mil units @ $0.725. I was guessing it's either them, Schroder or Mr Lim when the Buy Vol was suddenly higher at 4pm+. But, big sellers also suddenly cleared almost the whole Buy Q close to 5pm...

Tomorrow is likely their last day of duty (list on 16-Aug and add 30-days). I wonder if they'll try to push to at least 73ct (Mr Lim's buy price for 20mil units).... Those who got at IPO 78ct may want to pray that they use up the entire balance of ~28mil units to push it even higher... but I think likelihood is low...
