I saw it on a forum that there is a trading halt announced this morning. hoping for some exciting news.

I thought the buyers were Japanese, I didn't expect that Blackstone would be interested in Croesus, which was  a pleasant surprise. Having said that, I would very much prefer to keep it for it's high dividend yield of 8.9%.. Rolleyes

You are sure the current yield is 8.9%?

It should be 6.8% base on today $1.055 price.

i wouldnt be surprised if prices are rising, it becomes yield by cost. When prices are dropping, it becomes current yield.

I would have put my personal estimation of the fair value (and leaving some money on the table for Blackstone) at around 1.25 myself. But I guess 1.17 isn't too bad, when they are also leaving a distribution of about 4.06 cents to unit holders if the effective date of the transaction is before 31 Oct 17.

I've been risk off for the last several months, so the cash from this would be handy.

Scheme of Arrangement - All or nothing.

Scheme Meeting and Court Sanction. The Scheme will require, inter alia, the following approvals:

8.1.1 the approval of the Unitholders holding in the aggregate not less than three-fourths of voting rights of all the Unitholders present and voting either in person or by proxy at the Scheme Meeting to approve the Trust Deed Amendment (“Resolution 1”);

8.1.2 the approval of a majority in number of the Unitholders representing at least three fourths in value of the Units held by the Unitholders present and voting either in person or by proxy at the Scheme Meeting to approve the Scheme (“Resolution 2”);

Delisting of Security

The Offeror has confirmed that it made payment of the Scheme Consideration on 25 October 2017.

The Trustee-Manager announced that CRT will be delisted from the Official List of the SGX-ST with effect from 26 October 2017.
