Just a question to anyone with expertise for this question.

Is a developer able to re-modify its apartment block floor layout after it is launched. This is because for Waterwoods Block 21, only the penthouse units are sold and floors 2 to 15 are mostly unsold (the C2 and B1 units). Since most of these unsold units occupy the same level of the same block (one floor consist of 2x 1281sq ft and 2 x 1044 sq ft units), is the developer legally able to modify them into 6 units of 775 sq ft or any combination of smaller units? (assuming they have not hit the max unit quota URA stipulates?)

If developer like hdb can do it, I dun see why a reputable private developer like singhldg cannot do it

look like is quite a tough sell. for that block 21, imagine u r the only living household, all the floors below yr floor is vacant or unsold..a bit scary I think..but on the other hand, u get more privacy in the waterwood

Good thing they are not the top bidder at this juncture, otherwise they may not be so generous in giving out the special dividend.

Hopefully we get to see a special dividend, my personal feel is the mgmt. wants to do acquisition as they want to be seen as doing something (despite property market being fair to slightly over valued in many segments). Kind of remind me of fund managers where they have to invest in an overvalued market despite the right thing to do is sit on the money when there is no value in your investment sphere.

Added a few lots, but this time to CDP instead of Stan Chart so that I may be able to attend this AGM depending on circumstances.
