Have u both considered getting some fees to cover the cost of hosting this forum?

The teaching we get, $50 a year is not a problem for me. But I am not sure about the rest. $50 may be a lot to many, but the value I get from not making mistakes, is many many times $5000.

Hello all,

Trendlines reporting. Great exchange of ideas on the Singapore market. Although my approach to the market is mostly technical, i do have a modest buy and hold portfolio, where i try and implement value strategies.

In my view, value investing and technical analysis have the same basis - market sentiment - and can be complementary towards decision making. The same forces that skew prices to extremes in both directions, are also responsible for the various patterns, fibonacci retracements, channels, etc.

However, in keeping with the thrust of this forum, i will refrain from posting technical stuff here. Hope to contribute occasionally, but here mostly to learn from you guys.

My first thread in this forum.

Try trading stock for less than 2 years part time. and now I believe value investment is the best way for part time trading.

I came across here a couple of months ago and now find here getting more and more value buddies now.
