Paying $3.5K is OTT ( over the top ) .

But what is a reasonable price to pay ? I noticed the Eon Stores ( in HK) was selling a Korean brand UV light Vacuum cleaner for HKD $1350

I was looking for the price of dust mite vacs in Singapore and found there is a company selling online Atocare unit for S$399 .

I also found the price on Amazon.co.uk website for Montiss brand dust mite vacuum cleaner at GBP £30 + £4 delivery in UK.

Does the UV light really kill dust mites ?

Does the UV light really kill dust mites ?

"Highest immediate mortality of 100% occurred with direct irradiation at 10 cm distance from UV-C lamp and for 60 mins, for both species of mites."

In short, yes. But I do not think it is practical.

I think dyson, black and decker etc have powerful handheld vac that can remove mites.
