Unlikely to have much impact since Sing mkt volume should be quite negligible, moreover demand is usually inelastic.
On Amcor offer, its another hope that seems forever... never know just got to pray...

Full year EPS improved by 6.5%. Gary Yen has relinquished his post as chairman...(very likely some big corporate movement is brewing... M&A, etc)

What is stunning is the amount of cash - $60 mil or 13.5 cents or 45% of market value.

Net cash position = 6 cents or 20% of market value.

By now, it is very clear that both father and son not interested in business.
Probably, New Toyo will be sold off to some big players like Amcor. The chance of this event happening has increased greatly given this latest move...

If New Toyo is valued at 6.5 times EBITDA, easily 60 cents...

		NEW TOYO FY13 EBITDA = $38.64 mil
Assuming 6.6 times EBITDA, valuation of NEW TOYO = 58 cents

*************
Amcor announces today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Detmold Flexibles, a privately-owned Australian flexibles packaging business for $50 million. The business will be part of Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific.

18 November, 2013:

Detmold Flexibles operates two plants in Melbourne and has sales of approximately $55 million. The acquisition price represents an EBITDA multiple of 6.6 times and after the realisation of synergy benefits return on funds employed are expected to be more than 20%.

Amcor CEO and Managing Director, Ken MacKenzie said: “From a strategic perspective Detmold Flexibles builds on the success of the 2012 Aperio Group acquisition. It enables the Australian flexibles business to strengthen their manufacturing centres of excellence with plants focussed on specific technologies and end market segments.

“The acquisition will further improve our customer value proposition in the Australian market by enhancing the ability to invest in both product and process innovation. Given the manufacturing overlap in the businesses there is considerable opportunity for operational synergies and returns are expected to be more than 20%.”

The acquisition is subject to ACCC approval.

Stop touting new toyo getting take over by amcor. Very unlikely as they are now good friends with BAT. More likely BAT take them over.

Also please dun go saying they have 60 million cash like its a big deal.
DEBT has gone down but still at 25%+

and as you mentioned NET CASH is only 18.9%

Compared to NSL, baker tech, pne industry, AEH, hupsteel, isetan, CHuan Hup, PEC, AP Oil NET CASH companies this is not even half as much in terms of net cash to market cap ratio..

If so easily 60cents wont have been stuck around 30cent level for so long now...

Why would BAT buy back New Toyo ? In fact , BAT divested its printing arm to Tien Wah and New Toyo back in 2008.
