"Pushy" Sales Tactics

today sunday time got an article on pushy pushcart sellers manned by "work permit" holders.....what caught my attention was a lady's response on the pushy sales tactic.....after being "pester" by the salesman, she spend $50 on something which she think she would never use! think the "spell" must be quite strong....

This has also been a problem at spa centres, where a lot of customers are given "free trials" and then pressure selling tactics are applied to make the customer sign on packages worth thousands of dollars.

Well, we all know what happened to places like Subtle Senses, so it is really a case of Caveat Emptor!
