Comparing AIMSAMPIREIT and Sabana REIT, of which both are Industrial REITS

1) AIMS has a stronger sponsor than Sabana
2) AIMS has a higher yield
3) AIMS price is below NAV while Sabana is around NAV
4) AIMS does not have Shariah Compliant restrictions

Someone mentioned to me:
"I would say Sabana does not really have any influential sponsor, so that Sabana can make its own acquisition decision rather than to listen to some strong bullshiiiit sponsor."

My Reply:
I wouldn't agree with this. It shows to me that Sabana cannot make any decisions at all. However, they have merely the power to suggest what to acquire. The unitholders can at most vote for or against, not decide. No one has the power, no one has the control. In the end, it becomes a vehicle incapable of making and carrying out decisions.

Do you own any of the above counters ?

Aware that you own AIMSAMPIREIT , so can understand why you came out with this "Analysis". Very good, Well done.

I don't think it is accurate to compare AIMS REIT with MI-REIT. Seems more like a REIT RTO in my opinion. Old Manager screwed the Trust up with heavy debts and unfinanced acquisitions. New Manager comes in and take over the Management and rescues the REIT and starts anew. I don't think any MI-REIT shareholder should have any complains - it was either recapitalization to correct the previous Management folly or face liquidation.

Would like to advise on copying/pasting threads wholesale from other forums. Just provide the link and people can go read it themselves. Please try to keep to this, thanks, otherwise this forum will have a whole mumbo-jumbo of stuff from other forums.....

And Stocker, please refrain from sarcastic remarks and personal attacks. I think everyone is trying to share whatever views they have on this forum, so it's good to be civil and accept differing views.

On the other hand, it should be explicitly stated, on the outset, if anyone has any interest in the counters being discussed. This is to at least inform on whether one can be 100% objective or not. Even for the companies I own, I make it clear that I am vested when I post comments or views which may influence others' decisions to buy.

Let's work together to make the forum a pleasant and conducive place for sharing! Big Grin

My personal opinion is, it may be not a bad idea, sometimes. The reason is being, threads that are not active for a while on CNA Forum will be automatically deleted, hence, some good discussion in those threads will be gone too. So I hope the Admins here can relax the rule a little, based on a case-by-case basis. Tongue

I'm not vested in AIMSAMPIREIT, nor do I intend to do so.
(I'm objective I hope! Big Grin)

I have a really bad feeling about the integrity of the management, and frankly, this is the reason that's keeping me out. (Basically at this stage I no longer have any interest to look at its valuation no matter how depressed I think it is)

But that said, I have a strong feeling this is one of those counters that can be easily manipulated to have its price go up when its time to acquire George Wang's assets in China. Still money to be made, albeit not the kind I would be comfortable taking.

My views, your call

Hey but isn't this Sabana's thread? C'mon let's not go OT

While that is true, do have to take note that those are attacks by clones, of which 3 of the nicks have been banned because I exposed them. The person controlling the clone nicks is trying to take revenge because this person is very free, and the same person has once copied and brought the defamation to delphi forums too.

This is the reason why I stopped most of my sharings in CNA forums. The admin there does not bother.

I like coming here because the admin is more active and objective.

I was thinking it's not going OT, because we are comparing between 2 Industrial REITs in the sector.

There's good and bad, advantages and disadvantages.

Industrial REIT usually has a higher yield because their leasehold is usually much much shorter. Because of that, I will still eventually exit AIMS REIT when the time is right. The same goes for Sabana if I do buy it in the end.

It's quite interesting why some people (like the clones) would look at the history of AIMS without considering recent developments, and decide it's a bad buy, while at the same time declare Sabana is a good buy when it has zero history.

Just puzzling and hope you don't get offended if I ask you a question.
It seems you are the only facing this 'clones' encounter and not others, why ?

It's not puzzling. Others faced it too, and most of the good sharing has been gone from CNA forums because of these clone attacks. Too bad I was the only one who managed to expose and get 4 of the clone nicks banned.

I still have my list of clone nicks that aren't banned yet, so I ignore all recommendations and posts by this person. Btw, you have the same nick as my list of CNA clones. I hope you are not the same person, because you are also promoting the same stock as the clones in this forum, whether it is coincidental a not.

Promoting or agreeing to other forumers on the same counters is classified as 'clone' , so base on your definition those who promote or agree with what you promote like AIMSAMPIREIT are also 'clone' ?
This thread was started for Sabana discussions but you came in with AIMSAMPIREIT. Valuebuddies is a forum but certainly it is not of the same cultures as CNA forum, have some respect for the Administrators and forumers of Valuebuddies. I will not response to your further replies.Anyway, many thanks for your valuable sharing in Valuebuddies.
Peace be with you.
