That's the title of an article published on Forbes. I think it's a pretty good read. Instructive for those of us who always wonder how to measure management's worth and their ability to deliver. (link here)

I'll try to get through the actual paper but the article gives a pretty good idea of the study and its findings.

Also, when I was reading bits of this (on arrogant leaders), I thought of Saw Phaik Hwa. Tongue

Hey nice article, thanks! I guess for SMRT Saw Phaik Hwa she is now an ex-leader. Tongue

Two more CEOs who immediately come to mind as being possibly narcissistic:-

1) Eddie Chng of Equation - Now much more humble after Equation has failed to do well in the past 3-4 years, and after they had sold off their entire stake in Centillion (formerly Citiraya) for a fraction of what they bought it for. Talk about destroying shareholder value.

2) Oceanus - The CEO (can't recall his name lah) went around getting interviewed, being featured in media releases and generally going about generating lots of hype about his company. Oh well, the business ended up not doing too well, and he has now laid low.

Other examples are welcome! Smile
