Lawyers now are facing tougher competition... their salary isnt as lucrative as before.
I have noticed many reports about the relevant authorities (MinLaw and MOH) being much more lax in entrance requirements to practice in Singapore. e.g. MinLaw has become more liberal in allowing foreign born lawyers (read: India, Philippines etc) to practice here, inevitably bringing supply up.
Have you also noticed the greater influx of foreign doctors here? In the polyclinics, and even at the specialist clinics?
