Keppel REIT could be on the verge of MSCI indices inclusion.
The following are personal speculations:
i) following the various local and Australian office asset acquisitions, Keppel REIT's total asset value is slightly ahead of CCT;
ii) Keppel REIT's mkt cap following the latest raising is about S$0.7bn
behing CCT;
iii) With Kep Corp progressively distributing Keppel REIT shares to its own holders, free float of Keppel REIT is comfortably above 50%.
The inclusion into the widely followed MSCI indices is likely to be a question of timing.
