just because I didn't realise I had to disable my internet data roaming feature while in overseas recently, I received a sms from singtel saying that the charge for my autoroaming is $50. I had tot that I was tapping on the free wifi access in that country. do u think there could be a room to appeal for refund or partial refund?

Base on hearsay stories around, usually 1st timer has a privilege of "negotiation for discount". Few friends of mine confirmed verbally that they succeeded.

no harm trying, and claiming 1st time using smart phone oversea...
