We, as cultivator has found Dharma, learn to be a vegetarian, perform recitations and observe the Precepts but often, we are being despised and ridiculed by others in this world. In their eyes, we are the foolish ones as we only know of helping others. To stand our ground as Dharma cultivator is indeed not an easy task.
There are numerous misconceptions in this world. If there is something that everyone perceived as bad, you may end up agreeing with them.
As Dharma cultivator do not perceive something to be right just because many others say so. Learn Dharma as our life’s “Truth”, as such take no heed of any ridicule, stand our ground of faith and may others see the Buddha and Bodhisattva in you. If you are unable to change others, then the first thing you should do is to change yourself.
The power of a role-model is boundless. As a Buddha in the human realm, you will be regarded as one no matter where you stand.
